This full length vintage dark purple silk kimono with ivory negative peacock print at hem has straight sleeves and in-seam pockets. This kimono also features a "tsuta-mon" (Ivy leaf family crest) at the center back. This ivy crest was used by the Matsunaga clan- a Japanese samurai clan who are descended from the powerful Fujiwara. This kimono features an asymmetrical multi-embroidery technique embellishment at the collar with the same techniques used on the negative peacock print at the hem and features a black silk lining.
